My newphew Max arrived in town just after I did so one day I took him flying.

| We checked out Watauga Lake which is to the east of Johnson City inthe mountains. Then we stopped at Elizabethton Airport to get gas. I knew it was near Johnson City Airport but had never seen it because it was hidden behind some mountains. I was surprised by how upscale it was with a beautiful 5,000 foot runway and nice terminal. | ||||||
